Once upon a time…

Through History was born out of a simple yet deep passion for the Middle Ages. Frustrated by the difficulty of finding equipment that was both historically accurate and affordable, two re-enactors decided to create the shop they would have liked to find.
Every item is the result of thorough documentary research, drawing on archaeological sources, period iconography and the expertise of the community. We don’t sell costumes — we bring artefacts back to life.
